I still love the Shakira video very much but I wanna share another one with you, which I also like a lot. It's a song from Jamie Cullum's ›Twentysomething‹ album. I like the imagination of sitting at sea and just enjoying the calmness, the beach, the waves and the fact of being alone with your thoughts without anyone or anything bothering you. While watching the sea you can totally let your worries behind you and get your head clear.
Unfortunately I don't live anywhere near the shore but we have the river Elbe here, which also has a little beach where I often go to in summer. But also during the wintertime it's pretty nice. I love the smell of the water and the noises the birds and the waves make. I hope that one day I can live near a river or at the seaside, so I could just go for a walk along the beach whenever I want to.
Besides I recently saw an Andrea Bocelli concert on TV, which was really nice! I never really used to listen to his music before but now I also found one of his albums in the library and the music is so nice and calm!! Perfectly to relax and dream. Moreover he translated all the texts in the booklet into english, so that everybody can understand what he's singing about.
Favourite song this week:
Nothing changed here...
Favourite album this week:
›Cieli di Toskana‹ by Andrea Bocelli
What I am reading:
›Am Ufer des Rio Piedra saß ich und weinte‹ by Paulo Coelho
(I don't know the english title but it's gotta be something like ›At Rio Piedra I was sitting and crying‹). I really like Paulo Coelho, there are always so many intelligent phrases in his books! My favourite book (ever, by the way) is his ›Veronika decides to die‹ which is a book that totally changes your view of life for a while. It is amazing!!!
What I've learned today:
Uhm...not too much I guess...a little vocabulary again.
ps.: You can still watch the Shakira video at http://jazzielilblog.blogspot.com/2006/01/hips-dont-lie.html. I put it somewhere else on my blog to prevent both videos from playing at the same time.

I've more or less given up on most local music. it all started to bore me a bit a while ago. That and i spend a lot of time listening to soundtracks anyway ;-)
Btw, jazz I'd like to go in depth a bit more in discussing the topic you replied to. you can also drop me an email to do so directly rather than trough comments. Entirely up to you though.
No sé si serán esos beats tan houseros o la forma de moverse, pero el video de Shakira me vuelve loquito.
Lo siento, el colega del Piano no me convence :P. Queremos mas Shakira!
;) Un saludo
your link to the piano angel music score web page is fab. i've been looking for musical scores for like ever. i tried to down load kelly clarkson and some other scores for my piano but my computer wont let me. do i have to install a new program for it?
@ renderb: I sent you an eMail.
@zoe: Welcome to my blog! I am glad to hear that somebody is interested in my links haha^^ Well, some of the files are in the pdf-format for which you need the Adobe Acrobat Reader to open them (which you can get for free somewhere on the internet but I don't really know where...just type it in Google) and some are stuffed archives in the RAR-format, for which you need an unpacking program, but I forgot the name (not too much help here actually haha, sorry). I will ask my dad and tell you later.
If you just can't download the files, uhmm that's a different thing...maybe you have to right-click on the "download" button and then choose "Save as...".
I hope I could help you!
Nice song, Yasmine. Thanks for sharing it with us.
You can download Adobe Reader in Adobe.com or in pages addicated to software how (as?) www.versiontracker.com, twcows,...
the .rar archives can be opened with a lot of programs, but i reccommend you winrar for Windows or stuffit for Mac (also in versiontracker)
(¡Diantres! A ver si aprendéis Español)
Jazz: "Si escucho esta canción demasiadas veces dejará de gustarme"
