Restoring our shed-roof....

I haven’t been here for a while...hehe^^”
I’ve been pretty busy last week because I helped my parents to rebuild the roof of our shed which was a whole lot of work, phew! First, we had to destroy the whole plastic roof and then put all the waste and roof-parts into bags to carry them away and then build the whole thing with wood and stuff. It took us three days, but hammering all the nails in the wood was fun! I liked that haha ~
And finally everything is set with university, I’m gonna start october 20th (FINALLY) and my future professor told me I will be able to write a little chinese essay before christmas. That’s SO cool!!!! ^_____________^
On friday we celebrated my mom’s birthday, what meant going to the movies and eating Ice-Cream mmmhhh…
We watched “Mr and Mrs Smith”, which everybody said was good but I think it’s not that good….I’ve seen better movies.

Well, since I still have holidays, I gotta find something to do until october 20th….*sigh*

What I’ve learned today:
People can change in a way you never expected them to…

Quotation of the week:
“Vieles kann der Mensch entbehren, nur den Menschen nicht”.
(sorry I can’t translate that)

Favourite song of the week:
“My Yard” by Jamie Cullum

How funny. You can't go 5 minutes here in NY without hearing someone say “Vieles kann der Mensch entbehren, nur den Menschen nicht”.

HAHAHAHAHA ~~~
Thanks for your comment, Joe!!

It's a german saying I like, it means that people can spare a lot of things but not other people, something like that. It's written in a weird way so I don't really know how to translate it....
