I’ve been kinda busy lately, there’s a big exam on friday and an oral exam on monday and a presentation on tuesday...>.< Anyway, there’s always a little time to blog^^
Last week this friend of Jamie’s and mine from Taiwan, Max, came to Hamburg and since Jamie had to go to university all day on Thursday and since Thursday is my free day, I decided to show him around a little. It was fun! First, we went to Hamburg Harbour, which is kinda famous, as it’s been the “gateway to the world” in former times. The weather was typically Hamburg – a grey sky and muddy grey snow. But anyway, Max liked the snow (there never is snow in Taiwan), so it was ok. Afterwards we went to a really old little street which is just so beautiful! It looks like Hamburg looked about 80 years ago, with old houses and very narrow alleys and we went to a little café which was just so antique and old and so cute^^ Before we went back to Jamie’s, I showed him the government hall and we bought a souvenir for his sister in Karstadt (haha). At Jamie’s house, we all had something cooked by their former neighbour who came to visit and we all had a lot of fun. On Friday then Max came with me to university to see my Chinese-class (he was interested because he studies Sinology, too) and that was fun, too. Though it was somehow weird to talk Chinese to him (I felt kinda stupid, cause he always used words I haven’t learnt yet >.<). Anyway, in the evening Jamie, Max, and some of my other friends, we all came to her house to hang around and sing Karaoke. It’s unbelievable how good Max sings!! You could literally cry about the beautifulness of his songs^^ Lucky me, I have a CD with his songs^^ Speaking of CDs…he also brought a CD and a DVD from Jay for me ^_______________^ The DVD contains all the music videos to the songs of Jay’s new album and also parts of one of his concerts in Hongkong. I was happy like a child^^ I loooooove Jay ~~ Jay 4eva ~~ lalalala ~
On Saturday me and my parents went to visit friends of my parents’. Their daughter has got a newborn child, Leon. He is such a cutie!!! I couldn’t stop touching his tiny arms and legs and his soft baby-hair…babies so make me say things like “doozydoozydahdah hihihi”…I’m gonna post a picture of him later here, you’re gonna fall in love with this baby instantly, I promise!!!
Favourite Song this week:
"Black Sweater" from Jay's new album (what else did you expect...)
Favourite chinese charakter this week:
糊塗 (hutu), it sounds like a Pokémon or something hahaha
I also love 公共汽車 (gonggongqiche), it sounds just SO stupid^^
Most hated chinese charakter this week:
講義 (complicated and useless; it means "teaching material"....)
